A team from BYPC took part in Essex Boys and Girls Clubs notorious Jailbreak on Saturday 18th April. We broke out of Chelmsford Jail at 9am, chased down by the Chief Constable of Essex Police! We made our way br car to Epping, then travelled by tube into ondon where we sought out those other ‘escapees to the city’ – Shaun the Sheep.
It was a great day out as the weather was kind to us. Most of our trip was on foot, we walked over 12km in London according to the Pedometer app on our phone, and Jo managed to blag our way on to HMS Belfast for free! We travelled from Canary Wharf to the Shard, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre.
This is of course a fundraising effort so if you can sponsor us it will help support services for young people across Essex. Go to http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/BYPC to sponsor us online or you can give cash/cheques in person if you are local to Braintree.
